Allegedly, the Bluesky connector in Friendica should let you use your Bluesky account from within Superstimulus (go to Settings -> Social Networks). I have a Bluesky account, but I don't really use Bluesky so I don't know how well it works yet. I've enabled "post to Bluesky by default"; fingers crossed!

Weird! It shows up in my Bluesky profile under "Replies" but not under "Posts"!

When it sends the post to Bluesky, it seems to create two separate threaded conversations: There's the one on Friendica (which of course shows up on the Friendica timeline), and if you comment on that one it goes to Friendica / Fediverse servers. But then there's a second conversation on Bluesky, which also shows up as a separate thread in Friendica, and if you comment on that one, the comments go to Bluesky.

Seems like it works but the cost is my "Latest activity" feed is now a huge number of posts from people I do not even follow on Bluesky (I guess maybe because someone I do follow there liked a thing? or something?)

Also when I comment here on a bluesky post, I can't see replies that people post on bluesky here (there doesn't seem to be the thing where the comment is mirrored like posts are)

hmmm i can't seem to turn off the bridge in a way that removes the bluesky posts from my feed. I guess it will hopefully not import new posts?
in reply to Daniel Filan

Yeah if you turn it off, the things in your feed already will stay there but new things shouldn't appear. You can delete stuff you don't want by clicking the little checkbox and then clicking the trash can icon that appears.

This happened to me at first, but then I un-checked the box about pinned feeds and it got a lot better.

There are way too many posts for me to delete.

I'm actually a little annoyed by this - I'd like to just undo the bridge thing (e.g. getting rid of people in my contacts who are from bluesky, getting rid of all the bluesky posts), but there doesn't seem to be a way to do that in one fell swoop. Allegedly the next release candidate will make the integration better, so I might try again once that happens.
