Apparently there is a de facto conspiracy among Latin teachers to not criticize the quality of Latin learning resources they create? Seems not great. foundinantiquity.com/2024/04/1…
Now, please allow me to rant a little bit and talked about the things about the book that left a bad taste in my mouth. I understand that proof-reading Latin text is harder due to limited technology and resources, however, I still felt it a little disappointed that the first typo appeared in the second word in the first sentence of the book. Literally, the second word of the book. Typos are not rare throughout the whole book, and it got worse in the second half of the book, where grammar errors started to appear (e.g. disagreement between number and verb, or disagreement between gender and adjectives.) and words were used incorrectly (e.g. the word for tomorrow was used to mean yesterday).

We know. And it's not all novellas, but it is a lot of them. It's somewhat of an open secret that you aren't allowed to talk about or else you'll be ganged up on if you yourself are a teacher or a person who can write in Latin. And people will come up with the absolute wildest defenses for writing the strangest stuff. It's happened to me here a bit, but it's way, way more likely to happen on Twitter and Facebook. And it doesn't matter how nice and oblique you are, and it doesn't matter if you offer to help the situation.
